What I do
Birth Doula
A birth doula provides emotional, physical, and educational support to those who are expecting. They attend the labor and delivery. Using different techniques, they ease the birthing process. Doulas support the parent during the immediate postpartum period and may make home visits after the baby is born. Doulas offer encouragement, advice, and comfort to expecting and new parents.

Childbirth Education
Childbirth preparation classes build trust in the body's ability to birth. Classes provide information about how to have a healthy pregnancy, what your body is doing during labor and birth, and the procedures you may encounter. They provide the opportunity to ask questions and to receive support. Classes help you decide on what type of birth you want.

Belly Binding
Bengkung belly binding, a tradition dating back centuries, originated in Java. A cotton muslin cloth (traditional) or a modern corset-style wrap (modern), along with a firming paste, is used to tightly wrap the hips and abdomen. This supports the pelvic floor as the muscles and organs of the abdomen move back to their original places. Wrapping is traditionally started 24 hours -4 days after birth.
